Since 2013, Kathy Hart has been an invaluable asset to our educational team at Score At The Top Learning Center and School in Palm Beach Gardens, first serving as an expert teacher and tutor specializing in high school English and test preparation for the ACT and SAT. Now, Kathy’s role has expanded to comprehensive college guidance.
In her vital role as educational consultant, Kathy guides students through all aspects of the college planning and application process, from consulting on high school course selection and extracurricular activities to preparing students for effective college visits and interviews. With an advanced degree in Creative Writing – and creative writing as a serious hobby − Kathy mentors students who are writing college application essays, from brainstorming ideas to helping them improve their writing skills. In addition, she collaborates with students to build well-balanced college lists and to prepare them for effective college visits and interviews. Kathy also guides students toward enriching extracurricular engagement and helps them select high school courses that best contribute to their college aspirations.
Kathy brings an especially powerful background to her work: she took online courses through the Independent Educational Consultant Certificate Program at the University of California Irvine and currently participates in SACAC and IECA college-guidance conferences to gain precisely the knowledge and skills that help her support students in the college admissions process. Kathy has been actively mentored by our founding owner and Certified Educational Planner, Judi Robinovitz, as well as by Barbara Leventhal, one of our seasoned educational consultants. Kathy travels to colleges around the country to gain firsthand insight into each one’s admission standards, academic offerings, and campus culture.
Originally from New England, Kathy loves all things Boston. She graduated with honors from Holy Cross College in Worcester, MA, with a BA in Spanish and an interdisciplinary concentration in Middle Eastern Studies, enriching her education at the University of the Balearic Islands in Spain. After a stint teaching Spanish at Canterbury School in Connecticut, Kathy spent the following decade moving around the country in support of her husband’s Air Force career, all while raising their two daughters.
Happily settled in Jupiter, FL, she completed her Master’s at Antioch University Midwest. At Score At The Top, she loves the personalized environment where she effectively supports her students’ unique academic and guidance needs. Besides creative writing, she loves travel, fitness, and cooking.
"This is insane!!!! I got into Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Penn, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, and Duke!!!!!!! I don't know what to do with myself right now!!! I couldn't have done it without you!"
– Josh F
"The competition with so many foreign students applying to top schools is so fierce and much more than when I applied. In this area, when a few months of a child's life can have such an impact long term, it is comforting my son is in good hands and I think he has a chance to get into a top program. It is such a relief we made the right choice."
— Omar Chaljub
"[Judi] is amazing. She works relentlessly for your family and is so compassionate and knowledgeable. She is simply the best educational consultant you could ever wish to work with and she will exceed your expectations. Judi is the ultimate professional, experienced, dedicated and caring."
— Wendy Casey
